The Dhenkanal Law
College, Dhenkanal is one of the most premier educational institutions in LAW in the state of Odisha. Its Scenic atmosphere surrounded by the beauty of

The Classes are held in the morning from 8 A.M. to 2 P.M. on every working day except Sunday & Holidays. The College is permanently affiliated to Madhusudan Law University and permanently affiliated to the Bar Council of India, and permanently recognized by the State Government of Odisha. It has been established since the year 1981 and accredited by NAAC (An autonomous body). Bangalore.
The college is well
equipped having adequate classrooms, library, Computer and hostel facilities.
The college is organizing different types of Seminars, Symposiums, Moot Court
and provided Para legal aid Services to achieve the better performance of students
in addition to their course. Most of the teachers have doctorate degrees and
having a strong base in the field of Legal Education.
The college office
functions from 8 A.M to 2 P.M Admissions are made in 3yrs LL.B Course of the
College after the publication of the results of the Degree examination of Utkal
University. Applicants for Admission in to the 3 years Law Course of the college
should have passed the examination for degree of Bachelor of Arts, Science,
Commerce, Bachelor of oriental Learning, Bachelor of medical and Bachelor of
Surgery, Bachelor of Science in Engineering, B. Pharm, Bol., M.A., M.Sc.,
M.Com. or any other examination recognized by Academic Council of M.S. Law
University or equivalent there to and should have secured minimum 45% marks in
the aggregate in any of the aforesaid qualifying examinations. In case of SC/ST
candidates, the qualifying marks will be 40% with production of their caste
certificate.
Applications for
admission in to the three years LLB (CBCS) Course are to be submitted within 14
days from the date of publication of the result of Utkal University with
attested copies of the marks obtained in the degree examination and the money
receipt of the application form. Selections for admission will be made strictly
on mark basis taking into consideration the aggregate marks of the
qualifying examination. Application form will be obtained from the Law College
office on payment of Rs. 600/- in person.
Application to be sent by Post require remittance of Rs. 700/- by Bank Draft on INDIAN BANK, Dhenkanal Branch in favour of “Dhenkanal Law College, Dhenkanal” with a self-addressed envelope 9” X 4” with postage stamp of Rs. 50/-. Intimation for admission will be sent through post/email/telephone. The candidates are requested to submit the following documents in original at the time of admission through registered post or in person. So as to reach the under signed within the date as intimated. No Further time shall be allowed for admission.
